Jennifer Cecere is a political activist of a type rarely encountered. She uses her poetry to express the emotions that war necessarily brings about. Jenn's personal story is extensive, and the lessons she's learned through her personal experiences with war have a lot to teach all of us. Jenn has also started a Code Pink Chapter, locally.
Her poetry is a welcome edition to P&M, and so is her voice out there in the 'real' world. The last time I spoke to Jenn directly, she was loading up the coffin she'd built into her car, and was preparing to demonstrate against this war in person, in Bremerton. Her poems can be found here:
Victor Lopez is an American Citizen currently being held in a prison in Puerto Rico for Banking Fraud Charges. He admits his crimes, and is making them right by serving his time. We at P&M feel that the sentence for his infractions is overblown, and are proud to offer him a voice to speak to his homeland. We encourage you to write to Victor, and to learn from his story about life through his eyes.
